Hi, I’m Lauren.

I’m an ultrarunner and I live for running trails! Well, I actually live in the city of Atlanta, in Grant Park, but I love every chance I get to escape to the north Georgia mountains for a fun day doing what I love.

Finishing the Pinhoti Slam, Leadville 100, Cocodona 250, getting the FKT on the GA Appalachian Trail, running in the Alps, and most recently, gaining the ultimate redemption at No Business 100 are definitely top of my list of favorite ultra running moments. Running has taken me all over the country and even to Bali, where I joined 20 runners in a 50 miler to raise money and awareness for the Bali Children Foundation.

When I’m not in the mountains or on the road, I’m a nurse anesthetist at a children’s hospital. I love working with the kiddos and families, and while it provides me with a really fun and challenging career, it makes the days I get to spend in the mountains that much more enjoyable. I share my life with my amazing fiancé, Tim, and stepdaughter Harper. Tim is the world’s best crew chief (Courtney’s Kevin has nothing on him lol), and is the only reason I’m able to have the success I do. Harper is 12 going on 22 and is loving life as a middle schooler.

Running has given me so much more than I could have ever imagined. I’ve met some of my best friends through running. I’ve had some of my highest highs and my lowest lows out on the trails. I’ve cried, I’ve laughed. I’ve learned what I’m capable of and I wouldn’t be the same without it. Follow along and see where running takes me next!
